Art Show: Pop Porn - Red Passion Edition

Today I'm glad to announce that I've been invited to join a huge Art Show in Rome!

As you can understand by reading the name of the show, the theme is going to be sensuality from a modern and funny point of view.

My art is generally not sensual at all so I'm making a big effort to make something light, easy and cheerful as I usually am!

These are just a few sketches I'm making trying to focus on pin-up girls and 50s style.
Oh, I forgot to mention that the show is going to be in one week, the 30rd of November, and I still have to make two big paintings! I'll let you see how they will come out soon, wish me luck!

Doodling like crazy!

A few days ago I decided to buy a box of felt-tip pens, like the ones I used to use as a kid at school!
I wanted to feel that sense of freedom of mind that children have when they make their little drawings, so I started to fullfill my sketchbook with little colored guys!
It's so funny!

Figure drawings

I just had my Figure Drawing examination and I realized I havent posted a single figure drawing on my blog! Even if it is a very big part of what I do...
Human figure is a very intresting subject for drawing, so fascinating, I really really love it!
These drawings are charcoal on white paper made in about 15 minutes.

Workin' hard!

I think I've never worked so hard in my entire life!
I rarely put my nose out of my room for hours and hours and I spend my whole day curved on a piece of paper... But at the same time I'm having so much fun!
I guess one is very lucky when he works on something he likes so much!

Anyway, these hard weeks are almost over, I'm about to start living a normal life again!
