IF: Fail

Amy Winehouse: she tried quitting drugs and alcohol but... She failed! ^_^
I know this is quite forced, I just wanted to show you my first try with caricature!
It doesn't really look like the original but I had a lot of fun doing it!

If you want to compare my drawing with the real singer Amy Winehouse, here's a recent picture:

Love ya, Amy!

But it's getting lighter and lighter! ^_^

Threadless stellar design!

My design of the rocket kid is up for scoring on Threadless, I think it's quite nice!
Let's keep the finger crossed! ^_^

IF: Multiple

The multiple colours of the rainbow! :D

I'm working on this illustration as a T-shirt design I'll probably submit to Threadless.
This is a sort of "retro" style that I'd like to work on more and more in the future.
I love the look and feel of those American 50s cartoons and commercials!

IF: Theory

This one represents The Golden Compass... Did you read the book or see the movie?
So many beautiful theories, the dust, the Daemons, the Magisterium etc.
I really love this story!
This illustration accompained a little review of the movie.

IF: Blanket

A heavy blanket to pretect us from our fears ^_^
Just for Illustration Friday

Figure drawings

I just had my Figure Drawing examination and I realized I havent posted a single figure drawing on my blog! Even if it is a very big part of what I do...
Human figure is a very intresting subject for drawing, so fascinating, I really really love it!
These drawings are charcoal on white paper made in about 15 minutes.
